Anaya Beauty Extensions Care Guide

Pre Installation

It is important to always wash your virgin hair extensions hair before installation. Start by detangling the hair from the ends moving upwards. Although the hair is unlikely to be tangled upon receipt, tangles could have resulted throughout the packaging process.

Installation

Upon installing the hair, cutting the wefts should be avoided if possible. When sewing in the tracks avoid putting the needle through the wefts or piercing the wefts. The blanket stitch method should be used which involves looping and tying the weave thread under and over the weft.

Maintenance

Warning

Using the wrong maintenance products on your virgin hair extensions will result in dry, tangled, and unmanageable hair extensions that will eventually become damaged.

Washing

Use a sulfate free shampoo to wash the hair once per week. This is vital in order to avoid stripping the hair of all the moisture and drying it out.

Wash the hair in a downward motion making sure not to bunch of the hair or scrub.

*Use warm water to wash your hair*

 Curly, Kinky and Deep Wave textures

Use a moisturizing conditioner to co wash the hair up to 3 times per week.

Apply a moisturizing conditioner and comb the  hair using a wide tooth comb or a detangling brush. (Do not massage the hair).

Start with the ends and work your way up.

Let the conditioner sit on the hair for atleast 15 minutes.

Rinse the hair thoroughly and let air dry.

Scrunch hair gently to enhance the curls.

When damp, apply a dime size of an anti-frizz alcohol free hair serum. For coily, curly or kinky hair patterns, a dime sized amount of a curl cream or custard may be used in order to achieve a more tamed look.

Let air-dry

Do not use oil containing on curly hair, it will cause matting.

The use of excessive products will weigh the hair down and cause matting.

Please refrain from brushing or combing the hair when dry, it may result in the hair frizzing and may cause the hair to tangle.

Daily care

Before bed Gather the hair loosely to the top of the head in a pineapple and cover with a satin scarf or a satin bonnet.

***Take the hair down and spritz using our sprayer bottle. You should be able to just fluff the hair if it was styled to night prior.

To style the hair detangle from tip to root. Apply a dime size of curling cream and scrunch the hair.

Let the hair air dry.

 Do not touch the hair while wet in order to avoid frizzing.

Straight and Loose Wave Textures

Apply a moisturizing conditioner and brush or comb the hair starting with the ends working your way up.

Let the conditioner sit on the hair for atleast 15 minutes.

Rinse the hair thoroughly.

Apply a dime size of an anti-frizz alcohol free hair serum while damp and let air dry.

Brush or comb the hair to style.

Daily care

Before bed detangle the hair from tip to root, gather the hair and loosely braid. Secure the ends with a snag free elastic band and cover with a satin scarf or a satin bonnet.

Undo the braid and detangle from tip to root

Apply a dime size of an anti-frizz alcohol free hair serum if needed.

Style the hair as desired.

Warning

Excessive use of hot styling tools will result in dry damaged extensions.
